[Intro]
I know You can move the mountain.
I know You can calm the sea.
I know You can break the chains.
I know You can rescue me.

But that is not why I worship.

You were worthy
before the miracle.

You will be worthy
even if it never comes.

[Verse 1]
I've heard the songs about the breakthrough.
I've heard the prayers for open doors.
I've watched us measure Your goodness
by whether You give us more.

But You are not good because You bless me.
You are not King because I win.
You were God before my first breath.
You'll be God when my days end.

So I won't build my worship
on what happens next.
I won't make my faithfulness
depend upon Your gifts.

If the answer comes,
I'll praise You.

If the answer doesn't...

I'll praise You still.

[Pre-Chorus]
My worship has no conditions.
My surrender has no price.
You don't have to earn
the praise of a life
You already bought with Christ.

[Hook]
But if not...
You are still worthy.

But if not...
You are still King.

If the fire keeps burning,
I'll still lift my hands and sing.

If the door stays closed,
if the mountain doesn't move,
my worship will not change
because my God is still the truth.

You don't owe me anything.

But if not...

I'll worship You.

[Verse 2]
Three men stood before a kingdom.
Fire waiting at their feet.
Bow before the golden image
or be swallowed by the heat.

They knew their God was able.
They knew He could deliver them.
But faith became much louder
when they said...

“But if not.”

That is worship.

Not a bargain.
Not a deal.
Not “I'll praise You if You give me
everything I think I need.”

It's standing at the furnace
with nothing left to prove,
saying even if I enter...

I still belong to You.

[Scripture]
If it be so,
our God whom we serve
is able to save us
from the furnace of blazing fire;
and He will save us
out of your hand, O king.

But if not,
let it be known to you, O king,
that we are not going to serve your gods
or worship the golden image
that you have set up.

Daniel three,
verses seventeen and eighteen.

[Hook]
BUT IF NOT...
YOU ARE STILL WORTHY!

BUT IF NOT...
YOU ARE STILL KING!

IF THE FIRE KEEPS BURNING,
I'LL STILL LIFT MY VOICE AND SING!

IF THE DOOR STAYS CLOSED,
IF THE MOUNTAIN DOESN'T MOVE,
MY WORSHIP WILL NOT CHANGE
BECAUSE MY GOD IS STILL THE TRUTH!

YOU DON'T OWE ME ANYTHING!

BUT IF NOT...

I'LL WORSHIP YOU!

[Bridge]
No miracle required.

You are worthy.

No breakthrough required.

You are worthy.

No healing required.

You are worthy.

No open door required.

You are worthy.

No answered prayer required.

You are worthy.

No earthly reward required.

You are worthy.

If You give...

You are worthy.

If You take away...

You are worthy.

If I understand...

You are worthy.

If I never understand...

YOU ARE WORTHY!

[Breakdown]
Naked I came from my mother's womb,
and naked I shall return there.
Yahweh gave
and Yahweh has taken away.

Blessed be the name of Yahweh.

Job one,
verse twenty-one.

So I will not worship
because my hands are full.

I will worship
because the throne is occupied.

I will not worship
because life is easy.

I will worship
because Jesus is Lord.

[Final Hook]
BUT IF NOT...
YOU ARE STILL WORTHY!

BUT IF NOT...
YOU ARE STILL KING!

THOUGH THE FIRE RISE AROUND ME,
I WILL STILL HAVE A SONG TO SING!

WHEN I HAVE NOTHING LEFT
BUT THE BREATH INSIDE MY CHEST,
I'LL SPEND IT ALL DECLARING
THAT THE NAME OF JESUS
IS WORTHY OF MY BEST!

YOU DON'T OWE ME ANYTHING!

YOU ALREADY GAVE THE CROSS!

SO WHETHER I GAIN EVERYTHING
OR WHETHER EVERYTHING IS LOST...

BUT IF NOT...

I'LL WORSHIP YOU!

[Outro]
My God is able.

But my worship
doesn't depend on what He does next.

“But if not...”

I will not bow.

Daniel three,
verse eighteen.
